Reading this post makes me think back to that debate we had, and just how inseparable from electronics we have all become.

I don't mean this in a bad way, of course! Ethical concerns aside... I just hope that as technology further develops, the possibility of copying our brains onto a digital medium becomes a true reality. It's one of the things I really wish I could see in my lifetime.

(Posted on Nintendo DS running R4 DS ZKwa)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7968242630894103409.post-66553051865333395402009-07-17T01:28:48.367-04:002009-07-17T01:28:48.367-04:00How neat! I think they still have the program, which involves counting birds in your backyard and feeders on a regular basis and sending in reports. We also registered our yard with the National Wildlife Federation as a Backyard Wildlife habitat, and we have a sign posted on our property to tell people it is a place for animals to live. (It's very easy to get the certification, but it's also a nice way to spread the idea that people and nature can find ways to coexist! We don't have to have manicured, chemically-treated lawns; nature is so much more interesting!)Starry Niteshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09024443145372278808noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7968242630894103409.post-17472905966957081512009-07-15T10:05:39.398-04:002009-07-15T10:05:39.398-04:00It's great to see interest in this month's...It's great to see interest in this month's My Wonderful World "challenge"!
