For National Reading Day, and in celebration of Dr. Seuss, we read all day!
Here is the reading cave....
And here are the readers..................
What a lovely and quiet day this has been! Happy birthday Doctor Seuss, we miss you.

Love the reading cave! I really need to learn to make better forts/caves. :-) How old is your youngest reader? My DS (27 mo) loves to be read to, but won't even so much as pick up a book to look at it himself. I'm desperately hoping this will change over time!
What a lovely place you have here! Thanks for your sweet words on my blog. My main one is Milkmoon, but I guess I just have too many things to fit into one!
I love the view from your window. There's something to be said for stopping and looking, at something so familiar, and really seeing it again. I did this for one year, took a picture of my view, just finished this Jan. It was an amazing thing to do! If you'd like to have a look, check it out on my Year At My Back Door blog.
And by the way, we are BIG Dr. Suess fans here too! What a lovely day you had. :-)
I love your blog! I read this post and you inspired us to get out our own Dr. Suess books and read for awhile. My boys' favorite is Fox in Socks -- when I read it as fast as I can!
Hi, I'm happy we have found each other! Thank you for visiting my blog.. I look forward to reading your posts as well. :) Making tents and caves out of blankets is one of our favorite things to do. (In case you haven't already noticed from my photos.. ha!) And I love Dr. Seuss.
We call the black kitty Charm, we have a smaller female named Pixie Vixen....we call the both of them together "The Inkspots," in dedication to my brother in-law's beloved grandmother. The inkspots are anywhere the girls are, it's cute, they homeschool too!
