This is a photographofFrida Kahlo, my favorite twentieth-century artist. The little ladies know who she is and enjoy looking at her self-portraits with me.
This is "Self-Portrait with Thorn Necklace and Hummingbird" from 1940.
The little ladies were playing with seed pods today and thought of Frida. This is "Araina with Dogbane Unibrow."
"Fauna with Black Locust Unibrow while Sipping Black Cherry Pop."
Oh your girls are beautiful..so sweet. Thank you for the gift coming my way, Thank you so much and thank you for your words on my post today....i was lifted by them.
Very cute! I love the rattle black locust pods make. We went for a walk a week ago and discovered a patch of milkweed that still had fluff in it. It's one of my favorites.
So creative! I think that photograph of Frida Kahlo is interesting...she's really quite beautiful, more so than I think she shows herself to be in her paintings.
Life imitating art. You've got cute and intelligent girls! I'm stopping by from the blog party.
