Blogging pal, Peggy at Skip the Chips , is having a fun environmental worthy swap called Swap-CHOO! The swap is to get you inspired into making these lovely hand rolled hem hankies (tutorial at the purl bee). The rolled hem stitch is an easy stitch to learn and doesn't take too much time, and I'm sure you have a scrap piece of fabric you could use for this project. So throw out those wasteful tissue boxes, learn a new stitch and meet some great people all at the same time. Sign up for Swap CHOO at Skip the Chips to play along (tell her Lisa sent you)!

You are a real doll, Lisa, and that's a fact!

Thanks for tute! I've been wondering what exactly the rolled hem stitch is since seeing silk play scarves on Etsy.
Uh... uhm... can I just go and buy some? ;)
I'm in! :)
such lovely freckles, of course you can! but isn't it more fun to lick your thumb and finger and roll up the hem and maybe poke yourself silly with the needle?! c'mon, it'll be fun! :)
Hmmm....I dunno...I may try this over the summer when I have more time...maybe. They look really cool and I've been wanting hankies. But I think I just may buy some.
