Today we made mushroom spore prints from the mushrooms found in our yard.
Made fairy cottages out of rocks and moss.
Listened to maple tree sap through a stethoscope.
Had a bike ride.Found a bunny nest and watched the "ohhh so cute baby bunnies!"
Dug our feet into the wonderfully soft earth.
And left for a trip to the Shenandoah Valley, Virginia to visit my lovely grandparents for a few days. I have some posts scheduled for the next few days but won't be able to visit other blogs until the middle of next week. Enjoy the next few spring days!

Good Golly they're sweet.
Enjoy your trip!! :0)
Your little girl is adorable!!!!
And can you really hear sap through a stethoscope???
You can hear a very faint swishy sound when the sap is running fast. Late winter, earlier spring would probably be a better time to hear the sap.
that is fascinating about the sap. As soon as I saw your mushroom prints I thought what a lovely screen print design. Such lovely detail.
Have a lovely and safe trip.
I lovelovelove the sap idea!!

Thank you for the link to pepper paints!
Oh how wonderful! I especially love the mushroom prints. Those are so beautiful!
I almost never get to see bunnies that close up (unless my dog has caught and is snacking on one- ack perhaps a bit brutal to share. The realities of having a prey driven pet in an overrun by bunnies world).
Oh lovely...
Have a great time away, nice time with special grandparents what a good thing to do...xx

Darling photos! We had baby bunnies on our property the very first year we lived in our home--unfortunately we haven't had any babies since. :(
Love your blog--it's always so peaceful to visit you here.
Wow! What a wonderful way to enjoy spring. The spore prints are amazing! I wish that we had maple trees here to listen to.
WOW your mushroom prints turned out great and I didn't know the sap trick. Thanks for sharing. Your girls look like they enjoyed their blossom snow; much warmer then the real stuff too :) And the bunnies, how adorable! Have a safe trip!
