Beautiful Spring Weather!

Today we made mushroom spore prints from the mushrooms found in our yard.

Made fairy cottages out of rocks and moss.

Listened to maple tree sap through a stethoscope.

Had a bike ride.

Found a bunny nest and watched the "ohhh so cute baby bunnies!"

Dug our feet into the wonderfully soft earth.

And left for a trip to the Shenandoah Valley, Virginia to visit my lovely grandparents for a few days. I have some posts scheduled for the next few days but won't be able to visit other blogs until the middle of next week. Enjoy the next few spring days!

And can you really hear sap through a stethoscope???

  8. You can hear a very faint swishy sound when the sap is running fast. Late winter, earlier spring would probably be a better time to hear the sap.

  12. Oh how wonderful! I especially love the mushroom prints. Those are so beautiful!

I almost never get to see bunnies that close up (unless my dog has caught and is snacking on one- ack perhaps a bit brutal to share. The realities of having a prey driven pet in an overrun by bunnies world).
