cool book I just saw a sock owl craft in Pack Of Fun at my moms. so we are interested in making some of this stuff and we have tons of mismatched socks.:-}
Oh! This is SO COOL! Princess would love to do something like this and with the pictures and explanations, I may even be able to do this, too. I do happen to have a few stray socks laying around...and Princess' old socks that don't fit anymore. I may even be able to turn this into a class at Village Home....hmmmmm.
I am new to sewing, but these little animals look absolutely adorable, and I must try making one. It might end up being a pig that really looks like a cat, but totally worth it, since I love cats anyway.

So cute. The girls have been experimenting with sock, and these little creatures have become best friends. So far we have made rabbits, birds and mice. That book has some completely different creatures.
My grandmother had a small craft business selling sock dolls. She would make clowns out of a large white tube sock and small little dolls out of children's sized socks. I bring the dolls she made me out every Christmas to sit on the Christmas tree.
