cinnamon-applesauce ornaments

A yearly holiday tradition for us is making cinnamon-applesauce ornaments. I started making them 12 years ago when I was looking for a “holiday scent” activity to do with my kindergartners. I believe I’ve been making them every year since! The little ladies and I deck our Yule tree with them; they smell so wonderful! They keep their scent for a long time.......CLICK HERE FOR RECIPE.

Oh, this is a family tradition that I grew up with as well! So much fun and the fragrance is just lovely! This is the year that I am going to teach my son to make them.

Thank you so much for the recipe! I know my oldest would LOVE to do something like this! He always asks me to bake his playdough after he's made something with it and while the smell isn't bad, how nice it would be to have a cookie like smell in the house (without the potential calories!)
