Tagged to Know More

Mama King at 4 Crazy Kings tagged me to learn a little more about me. Here you have it......

8 Things I Look Forward To
1. Seeing my girls each and everyday, seeing how they learn, create and grow into the individuals they are.
2. My morning and early evening coffee on a daily basis. Yes, I am a coffee junkie!
3. My hubby coming home from work after a long day.
4. Making new discoveries each day with my girls.
5. Regular chats with my wonderful sisters! We could solve all the world's problems.......
6. Growing older and somewhat wiser.
7. Seeing how Mother Nature has changed our little piece of the world over night.
8. Meeting new people through the blogging world and keeping up with the wonderful things you are all doing all over the world!

8 Things I Did Yesterday
1. Made ladybugs, strawberries and owls with felt for a future shop.
2. Listened to my 14yo neighbor girl chat about teenage stuff- boys and new girls that "think they are all that!"
3. Worried about my mom's health. She lives in a suite off of our house; she has many health issues that require me to be close at hand.
4. Organized laundry for a trip we are taking to Virginia, going to see the grandparents.
5. Planted seeds
6. Went on a wildflower hike, have to relearn those wildflowers every year.
7. Played in freshly tilled dirt.
8. Daydreamed on our wonderful front porch while drinking my early evening coffee.

8 Things I Wish I Could Do
1. Learn how to sew on a sewing machine, I've been inspired, but just can't pull that machine out and do it.
2. Knit
3. Travel more
4. Get a degree in herbal medicine. I would love to attend Rosemary Gladstar's programs!
5. Hike more
6. Own my own coffee shop where mamas come and handsew or knit...with kids in tow of course.
7. Start my own nature family group that gets together monthly to hike and explore the outdoors together. This is so hard for my introverted self to accomplish!
8. Get over my fear of water. I have always had a fear of water, my first memory involves me in a swimming pool for the first time. I was very young and safely in my mama's arms....SCREAMING!!!

8 Shows I Watch
1. The Tudors (Oh how I LOVE this show!)
2. Doctor Who (modern day version)
3. Nature
4. Masterpiece Theatre
5. Good Eats
6. Peep

So glad you shared! I think your coffee shop idea sounds lovely! Coffee and crafting are two of my favorite things. By the way: I love your new felt creations!

Ooh, I love the Tudors! I'm a late medieval scholar, so I know a lot of the context of the show, but Matt's a graphic designer--he knows a lot about typefaces.

He's annoying about typefaces, and when we watch the Tudors, I'm always sqeeing about things that Matt can't figure out what's going on yet, and gasping at the introductions of seemingly innocuous characters.

He's possibly going to refuse to watch the season 2 dvds with me.

I love the lists. I, too, dream of a coffee shop, stocked with pasteries by my friend who retired as a pastry chef to become a Mommy. There we can sew, string beads, make all kinds of things, smell fresh flowers and bread--- ah.

Hot, black, strong cofee.... the breakfast of champions!! :0)

Good to see some tv recommendations... we have no cable reception or dish here so we order everything through Netflix and I've been thinking about giving The Tudors a try.
