Disney World

Hi all! We are back from sunny and warm Orlando, Florida! We arrived back in snowy, COLD Ohio yesterday. It was really a fantastic vacation!

Here we are in the Animal Kingdom in front of the Tree of Life. A very sweet southern gentleman insisted on taking a picture of all of us. I'm glad my hubby finally gave in (he hates his pic being taken).

We were on the search for the perfect Mickey ears. Rainy found hers on the first day, look closely and you can see the Mickey ears on the pirate kerchief, fits her personality perfectly!

Fauna saw her perfect ears on a couple of girls, we searched every shop we walked by but couldn't find them....this went on the entire week! Finally on the last day, at the last hour, we found them in a candy store on Main Street. In this shop they got to design their own ears and get their names stitched on....Rainy insisted on a pair as well.

This very cool Flying Fox bat was my favorite part of the trip. I could have spent all day watching these fascinating creatures!

Any Doctor Who fans out there? This is the closest we will ever come to the Tardis (UK phone booth in Epcot).

The trip was perfect....until the ride home, then Rainy got the stomach flu! We were going through the mountains in Tennessee, heavy snow falling, Rainy was complaining about her tummy hurting and the rest is history! What a way to end a great vacation!
