The First Part of the Longest Day

Today is a hot, hot Ohio summer day! The Little Ladies are welcoming the long day in their way by:
Tracing their shadows by standing in the same place at different times during the day.

Playing in homemade puddles with the water hose and sand!

Playing with a Father's Day gift!

Wearing pony tails!

And new 1920's bob hair cuts!

Happy Summer Solstice!!!!

Now to go and set up the pool, check the homemade orange mint pops, and prepare for a birthday celebration (where lavender chocolate cake is involved)!

Delicious! Dagoba make a chocolate and lavendar bar, all organic, have you tried it? It's intense! Your blog posts makes me feel so happy :) and inspired. Winter solstice at this end, time to plant the garlic.

Happy Birthday, Araina.! I hope you had a wonderful time celebrating your very special day!

I'm not sure if I know how to pronounce Araina correctly. So if you don't mind, I'll just call you Rainy as I see that is what your mom calls you. :)
