Fauna found this gorgeous grasshopper today amongst the oak leaves. She has always found them fascinating and wanted to dedicate this poem to the little creature.
The grasshopper, the grasshopper
I will explain to you:
He is the brownies' racehorse,
The fairies' kangaroo.
By Vachel Lindsay

That is the sweetest little poem. I love "a brownie's racehorse." Very cool grasshopper Fauna! I'll have to keep an eye out for one near our brownie's house in the backyard:)
